Course Description

Detail grom an illustration of a hawthorn twig wit green leaves and red berries

Train your eye to render the beauty and complexity of plants. This hands-on drawing course enables students to develop perceptual acuity, analyze the role of light on form, and use tonal value skills that are essential in drawing any subject. Suitable for beginners, students with limited experience drawing plants start out in graphite. Students with extensive drawing experience may take part in this course with more complex subject matter using scientific and structural perspectives, and use of colored pencil or watercolor.
