XCHL6020 Cartoon Craze: Create Your Own Comic Characters: Ages 8-11

Course Description

Join us for a fun-filled adventure into the world of cartooning! In this course, students ages 8-11 will learn to design their own comic characters, from sketching basic shapes to adding expressive details that bring their creations to life. Students will explore techniques for drawing facial expressions, body language, and dynamic poses, all while developing their unique style. By the end of the course, each student will have a cast of original characters ready to star in their very own comic strip.

IMPORTANT: All students enrolled in Youth and Pre-College Courses must submit the following Otis Extension Youth Pickup Authorization Form for Spring/Fall prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
$40 Materials Kit: A $40 materials fee is included in the course tuition. Course materials which will be received on the first day of class.
This course does not provide certificate credit.
