Course Description

Create a customized piece of jewelry using the process of lost wax casting. In this course, students will learn the significance of casting in contemporary jewelry as well as its rich history in jewelry and design. Students will practice the basics of wax carving before they go on to design and create a wax ring to be cast into silver. After the rings are cast locally, students will turn the rough casts into finished and polished pieces!
