Turn ideas into fully realized designs using only digital tools. Using CLO, students learn how to translate 2D patterns into 3D garments. This beginner’s course introduces fashion designers to this powerful visualization tool to create their own designs on a 3D avatar. Techniques covered include navigating the workspace, pattern drawing, digital sewing tools, designing and manipulating garments; assigning fabrics, colors, and textures; adding trims like piping and decorative top stitches; and rendering completed designs. Beginners and those with some experience with CLO are welcome to enroll.
