Course Description
Plush and Clay: Ages 5-8 (Morning)
Let your imagination run wild in Plush and Clay! In this fun and creative camp, students get to design their very own characters inspired by a favorite animation, book, or toy—or something entirely from the imagination. Campers explore how to work with different materials like polymer clay, plush fabric, and wire, using sewing and modeling techniques to bring your ideas to life in 3D. This camp focuses on creative thinking and character design, helping build unique and colorful sculptures that are all their own. By the end of the week, students will take home their own plush and clay creations to show off!
Wild Creations: Painting and Sculpting Animal Wonders (Afternoon)
Unleash your creativity and dive into the animal kingdom to explore the fascinating world of animals through both painting and sculpting. Using various materials and techniques to create colorful paintings and three-dimensional sculptures of favorite animals or imaginary creatures campers learn about animal anatomy and also get to experiment with textures and colors. This camp is all about combining artistic skills with a love for wildlife. By the end of the week, campers take home a collection of vibrant and whimsical animal art to proudly display!
