Course Description
Character Design for Games and Stories: Ages 9-12 (Morning)
Bring your favorite characters to life and draw inspiration from superheroes, fantasy figures, and iconic characters from movies, cartoons, and games. Students create and develop unique characters, enhancing their skills in drawing, narrative, and visual storytelling. Learn the secrets to designing memorable characters and explore how to bring them to life with compelling stories. This camp complements our Storytelling through Comics class, where students can use their characters in dynamic comic strips and stories, combining character design with narrative development.
Storytelling through Comics: Ages 9-12 (Afternoon)
Transform your stories into vibrant comic strips and learn the art of visual storytelling, using comics as a medium to craft engaging narratives. Students explore techniques for creating characters, developing plots, and designing comic pages, turning your ideas into captivating visual stories. By pairing this with our Character Design for Games and Stories camp, campers have the opportunity to bring their designed characters into comic creations, enriching both character development and storytelling skills.

- $40 Materials Kit: Students should purchase the relevant Materials Kit with enrollment of this course which provides students with course materials required for participation.
