Course Description

Storytelling comes to life in this dynamic comics class for ages 9–12! Students will explore the art of visual storytelling as they create their own comic strips, graphic narratives, and illustrated characters. Through drawing, character design, world-building, and sequencing, young artists will learn how images and words work together to tell compelling stories. Each week, students will experiment with panel layouts, expressive techniques, and creative writing prompts while developing their own unique artistic style. Whether crafting epic adventures, humorous tales, or imaginative worlds, students will build confidence as both artists and storytellers.
