XCHL8052 - Tericuts and Kirigami: Paper-Cut Adventures (8-12 years)

Course Description

This three-part, one hour class introduces several traditional Japanese Kirigami (cut paper art) techniques. All cutting is free-hand. Participants learn simple, basic, free-hand cutting techniques and the initial 1, 2, 4 and 6 fold Kirigami cuts. Participants learn a variety of cuts including insects, animals, plants, sea creatures, and basic shapes, and will create a final panel design to display their masterpieces.
