XCHL8057 - Making Puppets & Stories: Ages 5-7

Course Description

In this class, we’ll learn how to make all kinds of puppets- from paper cutout puppets to hand puppets! Through creating puppets, puppet sets, and performing our own puppet shows, we'll learn about storytelling and performance, too.

Weekly activities:
Week 1: Make paper bag animal puppets
Week 2: Make Super Sock puppet
Week 3: Make dog marionette puppet
Week 4: Make a small puppet theater
Week 5: Perform the puppet show!

IMPORTANT:

All K-12 and Pre-College students are required to complete and return a K-12 and Precollege Mandatory FormsPacket prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
