Course Description

Visual scripting is what drives the magic behind graphics...and ultimately the story and experience of a video game. Students will develop fundamental knowledge of game engine tools, including Unreal and Unity, and approaches to visual-based scripting. Through lectures, demonstration, discussion, and assignments, students will be led through the process of developing concepts, problem-solving, and methods of computer programming. This course provides foundational understanding of visual programming for designers that they can apply to their own game designs, or be better informed as they team up with other programmers.
