XCHL8072 - Create Valentines Day Kirigami: Ages 5-10

Course Description

Create a handmade, unique, and beautiful Kirigami Valentine “heARTful” surprise for someone special. Kirigami is a free-hand Japanese paper folding and cutting process that is artful, unique, and improvisational.  This 90-minute workshop teaches Kirigami folding and cutting methods to create Valentines themed imagery. This workshop includes the use of regular scissors, glue stick and colorful papers provided by the participants. Depending on the child’s age and cutting ability, adult supervision may be required. Thick novelty scissor cutters are not recommended.

IMPORTANT:  

All K-12 and Pre-College students are required to complete and return a K-12 and Precollege Mandatory Forms Packet prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
