Indigo Shibori is the ancient Japanese art of resist dyeing using various binding, twisting, wrapping, tying and stitching techniques to achieve unpredictable and gorgeous results on fabric. In this interactive 3-hour workshop, students will learn shibori inspired techniques with fiber reactive dyes or indigo, a process which students can use for their own textiles from a home studio. Demonstrated techniques will include several different shape resist techniques, such as kumo and itajime.Notes:
