Course Description

In this fun and participatory 2-day workshop, students will work with letterforms to create creatures, monsters, people and things. Students will learn how to manipulate paper letters, cut paper stencils, rubbings and printing techniques; and make a creature out of wood which can be used for type and print. Students will connect virtually to the Otis Lab Press and prepare digital files that will be printed by the lab, and mailed to participants after the class. Students will receive a materials kit including paper and printing tools for use during the workshop.

All K-12 and Pre-College students are required to complete and return a K-12 and Precollege Mandatory Forms Packet prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
