Course Description

Make a cohesive, engaging and memorable campaign based on your brand/story. This workshop provides a general overview of visual design as it applies to UX/UI and digital products (apps). Students will be introduced to foundational graphic design and visual communications core principles relevant to UX/UI and digital app design. Topics include composition, grids, hierarchy, placement, alignment, balance, contrast, color theory, iconography, typography, color systems, mood, imagery, photography and illustration. Students achieve essential knowledge for creating a cohesive "visual design system" that works together, is scalable, and is on brand for the company and targeted end user.
