Course Description

In today's world, a campaign is all about storytelling and sharing your brand vision and values to the potential customer with a direct call to action. You need to think of all the details, along with big picture thinking. It could be made up of social media assets, hero banners & promo boxes for a website, retail signage, digital ads, email blast, print, packaging or a combination of these. This course utilizes visual communication skills: graphic design, UX/UI, typography, illustration, photo art direction and copy to make a cohesive, engaging and memorable campaign. Topics include campaign ideas based on a brand story; targeting customer avatars; key art and copy;  effective campaign assets for potential consumers and brand stories; and 360 campaign design implementation. Students will leave this course with fantastic portfolio pieces that demonstrate design for email, social media, and multi-channel campaign design.

- Through weekly Zoom meetings, students will work under the guidance of instructor expertise to achieve their work in a virtual studio environment.

Prerequisites

Basic design, Typography, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills.
