This in-depth course teaches students the art of visual storytelling through the creation of storyboards and animatics. Students learn narrative development such as location, character design, storyboarding, timing, pacing, and the technical skills needed to bring a story to life in animatic form. They explore the key elements of compelling storytelling and learn how to translate written narratives into visual sequences that effectively convey emotion, tone, and action. This course is ideal for aspiring animators, filmmakers, and storytellers who wish to develop their skills in visual storytelling and animatics, preparing them for college studies in animation and film production.
