This course is designed for students who have experience in digital image manipulation. Students have the opportunity to create original art using various programs. Instruction focuses on creating and editing images from input devices such as digital cameras, color scanners, and film scanners. Students learn publishing and layout techniques for various digital and print output options. The course offers real-world solutions for professionals and artists. 

Prerequisites

The following coursework is required for Certificate Students. All other students should have equivalent experience.

  • Students must be 18+ years of age to enroll
  • This course includes 30 hours of class time plus at least 15 hours of homework time.

    • Synchronous: Taught through an online learning environment, allowing for the instructor and students to meet during scheduled times. Includes lectures, demos and discussions via Zoom.
