Course Description

What is your illustrative style? Perhaps you are just beginning, or, have developed several types of childrens’ book art, or somewhere in-between. In this class, students share and receive constructive feedback as they develop a storyboard and/or a dummy the size of a book. In addition, they receive practical knowledge about publisher expectations and how to effectively present an idea. Topics include character design; settings; and contrast in art and actions reflecting a story idea. Join this class if you want to have a great time with like-minded illustrations brimming with ideas! Suitable for beginning to advanced artistic skills.
