Course Description

Take this course to learn the essentials of establishing an interior design practice. Students learn how to set up and govern a business entity; and legal and contractual aspects of the interior design profession for commercial and residential applications. Topics include client relationships; marketing and design services; project management; fee structures; and a variety of issues relevant to today’s design professional. In addition, students learn about relevant job search criteria and tools useful for applying to a job in the interior design field.

    This course includes 30 hours of class time plus at least 15 hours of homework time.
