Course Description

This class is designed to educate and inspire students about mosaics as a fine art form in the 21st century. All levels of experience are welcome. In this class you will make a mosaic with stained glass using the direct method. You will learn about different kinds of tessera and andamento (methods of placement) along with numerous types of substrates, adhesives and grouting. Students will use foundational art principles such as composition design, shape, form, and color theory to make their work.

Note:
- This course does not provide certificate credit.
- A $55 materials fee is built into the tuition of this course.
