Course Description

Students continue exploring drafting methods and techniques as learned in Drafting I to create more advanced plans and elevations for interior design purposes. This course further teaches students advanced development and alternate drafting skills to create more sophisticated and refined treatments by illustrating how to effectively build interior design concepts through the applications of measurable Orthographic Projections, specifically Axonometric Projections. Emphasis is placed on developing design concepts for structural applications including commercial and residential spaces.

Prerequisites

Specific coursework required for Certificate Students, all other students should have equivalent experience.

  • Course teaching method:  Combined Asynchronous/Synchronous
    • Asynchronous: Taught through an online learning environment, allowing for flexibility with scheduling of the student's participation in activities. Includes organized discussions, posts and replies to messages, and uploaded multimedia and resources.
    • Synchronous: Taught through an online learning environment, allowing for the instructor and students to meet during scheduled times. Includes lectures, demos and discussions via Zoom.
