Course Description

Paint believable and expressive portraits in your own style. In this 5-week course, students will work with acrylic to create a finished portrait and several expressive studies. They will learn basic color mixing techniques -- including how to make believable skin tones. They will develop their own portraiture style through the study of various painting techniques and contemporary and historical artists. Under the guidance of instructor expertise, students will paint from home through weekly Zoom meetings.
