Course Description

Detail of abstract object made by glass fusing

Learn about the science, art, and design of glass. In this four week workshop, students will learn how to cut, grind, and create various works including tiles, art, plates, bowls, and jewelry components. Students will also gain technical knowledge about the glass firing process and the different types of kiln forming.

Note(s):

  • Glass firing will take place offsite. Glass fusing materials provided by the instructor for the workshop.
  • This course does not provide certificate credit.
