Course Description

Getting dirty is half the fun with ceramics. Whether you want to try your hand at clay or expand upon your existing ceramics practice, this course has something for everyone. Students learn the basic methods of building ceramic pieces including pinch pots, coils, and slab building techniques. Topics include adding colored slips and glazes for beautiful effects and helping your ceramics last forever. With an emphasis on functional ceramics, students create a variety of work. At the end of the course, finished pieces will be bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired.

Course Fee: A $35 course fee is built into the tuition of this course.

Notes:

  • Firing provided with health and safety measures.
  • Clay Kits and 50 lbs of clay included with enrollment of this 10-week course.
  • This course is non-refundable. Once the course has been purchased, no refunds will be granted.
