XCAM1050 - Creating Art from Nature: Creatures and Animals: Ages 5-8

Course Description

Find art and design inspiration in all kinds of nature including insects, animals, amphibians, reptiles, and more.This mixed media class is all about looking at the natural world and artists who are inspired by nature. Campers learn a variety of 2D and 3D artistic processes including drawing, painting, printing and designing in three dimensions. They will look at a wide range of artists to draw inspiration from as they experiment with materials and design unique artworks at the intersection between art and sciences.

IMPORTANT:

• All K-12 and Pre-College students are required to complete and return a Summer Youth Camp Mandatory Forms Packet prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
• $40 Materials Kit: A $40 materials fee is included in the camp tuition.
