XDMA9300 - AI Generative Art

Course Description

An introduction to AI Generative art will provide the tools and techniques for creating compelling images using artificial intelligence. The class will provide a basic understanding of how generative art and AI-generated art are growing areas of interest in the world of art and design. Students will create their own AI generative art and animations throughout the course. Besides access to the internet and Google Drive, users will learn how to access Google co-labs to access artificial intelligence tools. In addition, students will learn techniques provided to combine traditional art workflows with AI-generated content. No prior knowledge is needed for this course, and computer programming skills are not required.
