Course Description

As most domestically produced television is made using 2D puppet rigs, this class is an excellent way for students to prepare for working in the animation industry. Using Adobe Creative Suite, students animate puppets with attention to design, technical process, animation technique, movement, synching with audio, and incorporating into a a scene with multiple characters. As a final project they create an animated scene that can be used for a portfolio. By the end of this class, they will achieve essential skills and knowledge to quickly produce their own animated material relevant to television production.
