XPTG1755 - Advanced Watercolor: Painting People

Course Description

If you’ve mastered the medium’s watery, transparent properties, it’s time to get more complex with watercolor. This course focuses on advancing watercolor techniques to paint portraits and figures in watercolor. Course demonstrations will teach various approaches and techniques specific to watercolor including monochromatic as well as full color palettes. Through step-by-step instructions, students will achieve understanding and practice with the the process for painting portraiture and figurative subject matter. Students will be exposed to examples of paintings by master watercolor painters as inspiration as they develop their own finished artwork.
