Course Description

This course is designed for those who are experienced in drawing and/or painting botanical and natural subjects in graphite and/or colored pencil, watercolor or gouache. Each student will create personal artistic goals for the term with ongoing instructor mentorship as they achieve their goals and objectives. Artists may focus on a particular subject, plant family, medium, color, technique, textures, sketch book development, geographical region, or ecosystem. This 6-week course supports artists in achieving finished botanical and scientific illustrations with attention to scientific accuracy and personal expression.
