XCAM1058 - Art Adventures: Drawing and Painting: Ages 9-12

Course Description

Learn the possibilities of drawing and painting as tools to describe what you see, experience, and imagine. Campers learn techniques using a variety of media including graphite, colored pencils, pastels, acrylics and tempera.  With an emphasis on creativity, self-expression, and skill-building, they transform their ideas into finished drawings and paintings. Subjects may include people, characters, creatures, personal objects, and environments. 

IMPORTANT:

• All K-12 and Pre-College students are required to complete and return a Summer Youth Camp Mandatory Forms Packet prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
• $40 Materials Kit: A $40 materials fee is included in the camp tuition.
