Course Description

The 12 Questions was created by writer Francesca Lia Block created after decades of publishing dozens of books and over years of teaching hundreds of students of all levels and in all genres. They cover:
· How to develop dimensional characters with gifts, flaws, wants, needs and arcs.
· How to strengthen plot through the use of antagonists and escalating conflict.
· How to create evocative settings.
· How to find and develop your writing voice.
· How to explore meaningful themes.

Students will write between 30 and 60 pages of prose, with focus on character, plot, setting, voice and theme. This course is recommended for writers of all levels and in all genres, especially visual artists of all levels interested in learning the craft of writing. No experience required.

Note:

- This course does not provide certificate credit.
