XCAM661 - Ages 5-8 Week 8: Section 2 (Full Day)
Course Description
Plush and Clay: Ages 5-8 (Morning)
Let your imagination run wild in Plush and Clay! In this fun and creative camp, students get to design their very own characters inspired by a favorite animation, book, or toy—or something entirely from the imagination. Campers explore how to work with different materials like polymer clay, plush fabric, and wire, using sewing and modeling techniques to bring your ideas to life in 3D. This camp focuses on creative thinking and character design, helping build unique and colorful sculptures that are all their own. By the end of the week, students will take home their own plush and clay creations to show off!
Character Design for Games and Stories: Ages 5-8 (Afternoon)
Step into the world of imagination and creativity in this camp where young artists will learn how to create their very own characters, whether it's for a story, a game, or just for fun. Campers explore how to bring ideas to life by drawing, coloring, and giving characters unique personalities and backstories. This class is all about letting your imagination run wild as they learn how to design heroes, villains, and everything in between. By the end of the week, students will have created a whole cast of characters ready for their next adventure!
