Myths and Legends Around the World: Ages 5-8 (Morning)

Embark on an artistic journey around the globe in Myths and Legends Around the World! Explore fascinating myths and legends from different cultures and learn how these stories shape art and history. Dive into character archetypes, storytelling themes, and historical art while using a mix of 2D and 3D media. Inspired by the rich tapestry of global cultures and your own imagination, campers create a visual myth or legend to share with friends and family. This camp is all about bringing ancient tales to life through art and storytelling!.

Art Adventures: Sculpture and 3D: Ages 5-8 (Afternoon)

Get ready to dive into the world of three-dimensional art in this exciting class! In this camp young artists will explore the endless possibilities of creating 3D art using a variety of materials like found objects, textiles, papier mâché, wire, and clay. Learn about the basic elements of 3D design, including shape, form, texture, and movement, while experimenting with different techniques. This camp encourages students to express ideas, embrace curiosity, and think creatively as they make unique and personal sculptures. By the end of the week, there will be a whole collection of one-of-a-kind artworks that showcase imagination and creativity!

$40 Materials Kit: A $40 materials fee is included in the camp tuition.
