Course Description

When you create your own cartoon characters for comic stories, the possibilities are endless. You can write and draw funny, scary, and exciting comic strips using any combination of characters you may imagine. What if you had a stuffed animal who came to life as a sarcastic tiger? Or what if an ogre in the forest fell in love with a princess who turned out to be an ogre, too? Or what if a team of superheroes had to join forces to save the earth? These are all ideas that have become successful comic strips. In this course, you will get helpful cartooning tips and techniques for developing your own cast of cartoon characters. By the end of this course, you will have a finished comic strip which you could submit to be published in your school newspaper or website.
