Explore the art of exaggeration by creating humorous portraits of celebrities and well-known figures, learning to highlight unique features and bring personality to life with your own artistic style - In this lively and engaging class, students will dive into the art of caricature, learning how to exaggerate facial features and body proportions to create fun, humorous portraits. They will explore key techniques for drawing expressive faces, focusing on emphasizing unique characteristics to capture the essence of well-known figures, such as celebrities and famous individuals. The course covers proportion, line work, and shading while encouraging creative freedom in distorting features. By the end, students will have a portfolio of playful caricature drawings!

IMPORTANT: All students enrolled in Youth and Pre-College Courses must submit the following Otis Extension Youth Pickup Authorization Form for Spring/Fall prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
