Course Description

This intermediate-level course builds upon the foundational skills acquired in Painting I. Students delve deeper into advanced painting techniques, composition, and the development of a cohesive body of work. They approach painting with experimentation with various painting styles and subject matter, refining their technical abilities while further developing their personal artistic voice. Emphasis is placed on the creative process, from concept development to the execution of finished works. This course is ideal for students looking to deepen their painting practice and work towards developing a professional portfolio for college admissions.

  • Tuition includes a non-refundable $200 deposit per course.
     

Prerequisites

To enroll for any advanced level classes, students must have taken Level I (or equivalent) or have instructor approval after portfolio submission. To have your portfolio reviewed, please submit to soa@otis.edu.
