Course Description

Explore design principles and construction techniques for the moderate price market. Students examine the unique challenges and opportunities presented by various materials, learning how fabric behavior influences design decisions, fit, and garment performance. Students are encouraged to create innovative designs while maintaining practical considerations such as cost, marketability, and production feasibility.

Prerequisites

Specific coursework required for Certificate Students. All other students should have equivalent experience.
